Where would I be if not for the blood of Jesus Christ?  He came down to earth for me and gave His innocent life for me, so that my sins would be covered.  Now don’t get me wrong, that doesn’t mean that I can sin, by any means.  But because I appreciate what He did for me, I can serve Him and tell everybody about my faith in Him, and what He has done for me in my life.  For years I was lost, but now I am found.  Do you know that in my early years, I thought I was mentally retarded?  Yes, I could not function in society without doubting myself in everything I did.  I got into a cult, and there I stayed because it protected me for 25 years.  At the age of 45, I went to college, and it woke me up to the fact that I was somebody.  I was valid.  My life meant something.  It was God, who woke me up to the fact that I needed to help others do what I did.  That is what I want to do with the rest of my life.  God gave me life, and I intend to use it.

 

How am I using my life now, in 2015?  I go to church, my husband and I have prayer meetings every Friday, as we have done for the past two years, and I am treating my arthritis with water therapy.  I use the pool twice a week at the Y and then use the jacuzzi for twenty minutes, after which I do the treadmill, and I try to get to a mile.  Sometimes I do less than that.  At home, I deal with EX Jehovah’s Witnesses on Facebook, keep in contact with other people as well, and go to Bible Study on Wednesday.  I read books which deal with topics I am interested in.  I use Chiropractic care for my general well being.  But I know that I have hope in Jesus, and that is what makes me motivated to go on.
